Renovating the original 19th century Franklin schoolhouse for a family to occupy was an exciting challenge. Working diligently with the historical board, we added a second floor with bedrooms and a separate staircase that passed today’s strict building codes. Additional interior and exterior modifications made this a warm family home and stayed within the character of Franklin Historic District.
