Ryan’s path to carpentry started with a love for home renovation. After years in the liquor industry, he made the leap into carpentry, inspired by the joy he found remodeling his own homes. With passion and dedication, he proved himself to a team of experienced carpenters, learning every skill he could from these talented mentors. Over time, he honed his expertise, especially in finish carpentry and custom furniture building, before joining MainStreet Design Build.

Today, Ryan is known for his meticulous finish carpentry and craftsmanship, from crafting custom entry doors to incorporating the techniques of late 19th and early 20th-century carpentry in his projects. His goal is to create beautiful, functional spaces that feel like a true extension of his clients’ personalities. As he says, “Their homes are an extension of themselves, and I love turning them into something they feel delighted and comfortable in.”

Outside of work, Ryan finds joy with his family—his three children, whom he adores, and his supportive wife, who is always enhancing their lives together. He enjoys playing guitar and mandolin, reading, and expressing his creativity however he can. A passionate advocate, Ryan also supports Farm Sanctuary, a cause close to his heart, where his wife was instrumental in leading research on animal cognition.
