In the Design portion we found the 3D drawing tool very productive with Steve when working on the plans for the house. Once the Build stage started the use of Co-Construct was great for keeping track of the updates on the project. The overall “build” part of the project took about 3 months once it started and was for the most part kept on schedule. It was the planning and designing that took the longest and where expectations were set. For us, this was a valuable part of the overall process. In addition, the MainStreet team use of today’s latest technology made the process a lot easier and more enjoyable.

Co-Construct was an effective way to manage communication and any changes that were delivered throughout the project. The design and deliverables were as expected.

Overall we were very satisfied with the finished product. Although the project finished late MainStreet stepped up and took over the stairs once it was clear the stair sub-contractor was not going to do the job. We have already recommended them to others. The finished product met or exceeded all of our expectations. The design turned out better than expected and the quality of workmanship was excellent.

The experience has been great and my designer is wonderful. I would only add on the client end when creating the project, understanding allowances better. For me, I would have asked for a higher allowance for lighting. I didn’t know what I didn’t know. And when working months ago to create the project, I had not yet created a design plan. So, knowing costs ahead of time would be more helpful, so it didn’t feel like I was always over budget. But that is not MSD issue per se, more of a joint issue. It is a wonderful feeling knowing that the people who are working in my house, as we are living here, are terrific and caring. From the MSD team to the contracted workers, everyone has been amazing. They are all friendly, kind, and helpful. My project manager is the best!

Having heard horror stories from friends and family about their remodeling projects we were pleasantly surprised at the level of service, attention to detail, proactive communication, and quality service provided from MainStreet.
