Joshua H., Carpenter
On a construction site, the skeleton, or rough frame, is the building’s most important structural component. As a rough frame carpenter, Joshua is a specialist that turns blueprints into the sturdy internal structure of a home. He started his craft at the ripe young age of 23 and is now a valuable addition to the MainStreet production team.
Joshua’s responsibilities include, measuring, cutting and assembly lumber for the walls and subfloor, adding anchors and other vital structural supports. He also measures and attaches studs around the spaces for doors and windows, and sets joists for the ceiling, then trusses for the roof.
What is he passionate about professionally? “I am an efficient problem-solver, and work well with my colleagues, collaborating and working well as a team.”
For leisure entertainment, Joshua enjoys learning, especially exploring new building techniques and processes. Joshua is a passionate supporter of wildlife and animals. He enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending time with friends.
