Eric R., Lead Carpenter
A 7-year professional carpenter with additional hands-on experience throughout his adult life, Eric is a valuable contributor to the MainStreet carpentry team. Coming from a small design-build firm where he wore a lot of hats, Eric not only is skilled in carpentry but he can rough-in the mechanical, lay tile, paint, install floors, and do custom millwork. This well-rounded skill set allows Eric to troubleshoot and foresee potential conflicts, as well as recommend smarter ways to build.
Eric’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, layout at the start of a job, rough framing, and installing finish trim and carpentry at the end of a project. He’s also particularly effective at working closely with subcontractors to ensure each project is completed to the highest quality standards. And, Eric is known for his attention to detail and warm and effectual interaction with clients, trades, and co-workers, etc.
What is he passionate about professionally? “I am most passionate about creating a high-quality end product that suits each client’s needs and expectations. Being able to take a project from start to finish is incredibly rewarding, and makes all the hard work completely worth it.”
For leisure entertainment, Eric enjoys designing and building things—whether it be a random Knick knack on his 3D printer, a piece of furniture, or a whole house. He thoroughly enjoys transforming a design concept into reality and building something people can use or enjoy.
