Meet Our Team: Raffi B.

Raffi B., Sales & Design Consultant

After three decades of experience remodeling homes in Birmingham and surrounding areas, MainStreet Design Build has gained an appreciation for the needs and preferences of local homeowners. With an unwavering commitment to personal care, accountability, timeless design, and exacting attention to detail, we were ready to expand and hire a Sales and Design Consultant with an exceptional customer service record. When we found Raffi, we hit the jackpot.

Raffi’s experience dates back to 2011 when he started selling kitchens and bathrooms for Sears, which segued into an interior sales management position in just two short years. After his success at Sears, he transitioned over to a custom remodeling company in Northville where he enhanced his sales and design skills. There, Raffi absorbed the entire remodeling process assisting customers with the details or product selections, as well as overseeing and managing complete projects.

Raffi has a Civil & Environmental Engineering degree from the University of Michigan and has received numerous sales awards from his days at Sears, but he treasures most the personal notes he received from clients expressing their gratitude for his help in making their remodeling experience enjoyable.

Thankful for Raffi’s dedication to client care, he is known for building a level of trust between client and contractor. His responsibilities include nurturing relationships with homeowners, learning their project needs and preferences, creating concise work orders, constructing the initial design, and managing project expectations.

Raffi admits, “Although I enjoy designing, there is no greater satisfaction than successfully building a client’s “dream vision” for their home.”

A family man, Raffi is regularly seen supporting his three children in their various school and sports activities—whether hockey, soccer, swimming, or whatever else they have going on. Raffi enjoys spending time with his wife, Cara, boating on Cass Lake, golfing, and skiing. He also looks forward to getting back to tailgate parties in Ann Arbor, reuniting with his college buddies, and rooting on his alma mater.

Client Testimonials

In the Design portion we found the 3D drawing tool very productive with Steve when working on the plans for the house. Once the Build stage started the use of Co-Construct was great for keeping track of the updates on the project. The overall “build” part of the project took about 3 months once it started and was for the most part kept on schedule. It was the planning and designing that took the longest and where expectations were set. For us, this was a valuable part of the overall process. In addition, the MainStreet team use of today’s latest technology made the process a lot easier and more enjoyable.
