Our experience with Main Street has been great! The size of our project was considerable- addition with kitchen/family room/ breakfast nook downstairs and Master suite w balcony upstairs plus a remodeling of the old kitchen into pantry, first floor laundry and mudroom. We have two grade school aged kids and had no choice but to live in our house during construction. We were prepared for the rigors of living in dusty, loud and disruptive conditions but the process with Main Street has been very easy and relatively smooth. Although we have our absolute favorites, we feel that everyone who has worked on the project has been courteous and professional. We would use Main Street Design Build again in a heartbeat!!

Our experience was very positive, we found MainStreet to be very professional, and considerate of our ideas. The job finished very close to the time estimated, which can be rare in that business!

They simply put – deliver. Projects are well designed and delivered. Good advice is given and they are very open to new ideas. We have gotten many compliments on our finished projects from friends, and best of all, we are pleased.

We love where we live – but we needed to add more space for our growing family. We were impressed with Steve’s design suggestions for better use of space and enhancements to our plans. They really do focus on quality and integrity in every aspect of their work.

The experience has been great and my designer is wonderful. I would only add on the client end when creating the project, understanding allowances better. For me, I would have asked for a higher allowance for lighting. I didn’t know what I didn’t know. And when working months ago to create the project, I had not yet created a design plan. So, knowing costs ahead of time would be more helpful, so it didn’t feel like I was always over budget. But that is not MSD issue per se, more of a joint issue. It is a wonderful feeling knowing that the people who are working in my house, as we are living here, are terrific and caring. From the MSD team to the contracted workers, everyone has been amazing. They are all friendly, kind, and helpful. My project manager is the best!
