Promotes Christopher Swint, Interior Designer

Birmingham, MI – March 15, 2019MainStreet Design Build, one of Birmingham’s most trusted, luxury remodeling design-build firms, announced a new division for the 28-year-old company.  The new Interior Design Division will support the company’s growth, bringing a deeper level of design services to MainStreet Design Build.

Hired as a design assistant in 2017, Christopher Swint has been promoted to Interior Designer.  Currently a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) with a LEED Green Associate Certification, Christopher has recently been selected as the President Elect.  He will begin his tenure as President of ASID Michigan in 2020. With an amazing eye for detail, Christopher brings the experience necessary to work through all of the finishing details on every MainStreet Design Build project, from wall and floor finishes to furnishings, accessories, lighting, tile and fixtures.

“Christopher has been an excellent addition to our design team for the past two years.  He is particularly skilled at capturing our clients’ vision and bringing them to life in explicit form and function. Managing the new Interior Design Division is the logical choice,” said Christine Ramaekers, MainStreet’s co-owner and Certified Kitchen Designer, who has lead the design direction on several high profile projects.

Christopher received his Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Bowling Green State University. Although he keeps a very busy schedule in the design field, physical fitness is extremely important to him. Christopher loves going to the gym daily and spends his personal time exploring newly revitalized areas in Detroit.
