Premier remodeling company wins in Design Challenge Competition
Oakland County, MI – October 2, 2019 – Fresh from being voted the #1 kitchen remodeler in Detroit and the #2 general contractor in all of Michigan, MainStreet Design Build adds another trophy to its already full case with the Judges Choice of Top Professional award from the 2019 Humble Design Challenge. Beating some of the best names in regional renovation, MainStreet Design Build’s design and construction team (Christine Ramaekers, CKD, Vice President; Amy Fischer, Design and Sales Consultant; Christopher Swint, ASID, Interior Designer; and Dwain May, Project Manager), used two anchor items from the Humble Design inventory plus accessories to create an award-worthy living space that powerfully reflected the magic and compassion of the Humble Home.

The Contest was held at Royal Oak Farmers Market the evening of October 1st, and 21 of the best design firms in the area worked to create the number one booth. Earlier that day up to four designers from each firm designed and developed a “vignette” or living space (kitchen, bathroom, dining room, bedroom, play areas, even “man caves”) using two core components from the Humble Design inventory, plus accessories. The MainStreet Design Build bathroom vignette won by embodying the company’s proven ability to translate creative ideas into wonderful living spaces–and doing it on time, on budget, and beyond expectations.
