In 1991, Steve Ramaekers, the CEO and president of MainStreet Design Build, set out with a vision to bring design and construction excellence to homeowners who valued remodels delivered with a craftsman’s eye for details; frequent, reliable communication; and a fixed price construction budget. Over the course of the last thirty years, MainStreet’s vision has become a reality. The company has grown from a small niche remodeling firm to a sought-after, innovative residential design and construction pioneer. This $2.5 Million company in 2013 grew to $7.5 Million in 2021—just 8 short years. It also grew 120% (from 10 staff in 2013 to 22 in 2021), and is still hiring.
In 2021, MainStreet moved to a larger office, which expanded their center for excellence to accommodate the growing number of clients and office and field staff.
