Birmingham, MI – March 29, 2018 – Each year, Metro Detroit’s design community celebrates winners of the Annual Detroit Home Design Awards honoring professionals of award-winning home design. This year’s 14th Annual gala event was presented by Michigan Design Center on Thursday, March 29th, 2018 at The Max M. and Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center.
Detroit Home commissioned an esteemed independent panel of judges for the competition. The arbiters of design included those with a variety of backgrounds from all over the country, drawn from national media, respected academic institutions, private practice, and nationally recognized names from design and architecture. These judges review hundreds of entries and choose nearly 200 category winners.
MainStreet Design Build was among those category winners for Small Space Remodels (up to 1,000 Square Feet).

“In designing this addition, our goal was to create better traffic flow through the new mudroom on the first floor, while making it possible to expand and re-design the master bath and bedroom on the second floor,” said MainStreet’s VP and Certified Kitchen Designer Christine Ramaekers. “The end result was exactly what we envisioned.”
