Chief Operations Officer

As Chief Operating Officer at MainStreet Design Build, Kim wears many hats—but at the heart of it all is a simple goal: to make sure every project runs smoothly, every client feels cared for, and every team member has the tools to succeed.
 
Since 2012, Kim has brought a hands-on approach to leadership. Whether it’s fine-tuning workflows behind the scenes or walking job sites with project managers, she believes that the best results come from clear communication, strong relationships, and a shared commitment to doing things the right way.
 
Before stepping into the COO role, Kim worked as the General Manager for many years, providing a tactical focus over the financial and administrative departments. Prior to joining MainStreet Design Build, Kim held roles in commercial development financing, higher education administration and legal administration. Through these experiences, she gained a deep appreciation for understanding the coordination and commitment it takes to bring a vision to life. That experience continues to shape how she leads today—with empathy, accountability, and a focus on continuous improvement.

Kim graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in General Management. In her spare time, Kim enjoys working in her garden, spending time with family and friends, and shopping for antique treasures.
