The new owners of the Peabody Mansion, which is located in downtown Birmingham, decided that the mansion needed a facelift. The porches were re-built for today’s current building codes, along with necessary roof repairs to address years of weather related problems. Custom millwork for all of the porches, handrails and handicap walkways was cut and installed to match the original detail of this grand dame.
