The Four Stages of a Remodel: What to Expect Phase IV: Happily Ever After

The fairy-tale phase of your home remodel is finally here. The work is done. While you may be excited to move in to your new space, you will need to give your contractor time to handle any final details—an important step to getting you well on your way to loving your home for many years to come. During this phase you can expect to complete a final walk-through of your space, ensuring every detail is reviewed and addressed to your complete satisfaction.

At MainStreet, our job is not complete until we have taken care of every detail and you are well on your way to enjoying your newly remodeled space. During this time you will also be presented with an Extended Client Care Home Remodeling Warranty that goes above and beyond what many home remodeling contractors provide (2 years on craftsmanship and material defects, 5 years on structural defects (subject to terms and conditions outlined in the service agreement) and manufacturer warranties that cover all appliances, electrical, fixtures and related components).

Congratulations! You’ve made it through a successful remodel. Smile, give yourselves (and your remodeling contractor) a pat on the back and enjoy your beautiful newly remodeled space. It’s all yours, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish till death do you part.
