Although it doesn't quite feel like it, Spring has sprung. And, despite the weather, it is off to a great start here in Birmingham with remodeling activity in full swing. This time of year is a perfect time to start an interior or exterior project that you've been meaning to cross off your checklist. It's even National Home Improvement Month in May, which is about improving the quality of your home. In addition to aesthetic improvements, you may want to spend some time thinking about the functionality of your kitchen, bathroom, living room or bedroom. Then, decide where you can make a difference, small or large, to improve your home for the upcoming summer. We can help by asking the right questions about what you want and need in your home. Just give us a call, or schedule a complimentary in-home consultation. Wishing you all the joys of Spring, |

Meet Christopher Swint, MainStreet Design Build's Dream Design Assistant |
|
|
Born and raised in Ohio, Christopher is a recent graduate of Bowling Green State University where he earned a B.S. in Interior Design. He is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers and is also a LEED Green Associate. Christopher was recruited his senior year at Bowling Green for the Pottery Barn Trade Program. He had his choice of Chicago or Detroit and chose Detroit!
Christine Ramaekers and Christopher’s paths crossed at Pottery Barn while Christine was assisting a client with material selections. Christine returned to our office raving about this young professional she had met. One month later, not realizing that Christine was an owner of MainStreet Design Build, Christopher applied for our Design Assistant position and the rest is history.
Christopher works closely with the senior design team, assisting and coordinating each material selection. One of his greatest strengths lies in the ability to identify and capture the unique styles of each of our clients. He successfully balances function with aesthetic, ensuring our clients get the space they have always dreamed of. His positive attitude and proactive approach help to keep the selection process fun. Meet the rest of MainStreet's dynamic team of creative professionals. |
