Local Community, Inspired by Remodeling Firm, Brings Toys to Disadvantaged Youth

Birmingham, MI— December 1, 2013. MainStreet Design Build hosts another local toy collection campaign for Toys For Tots, a national fundraising organization run by the U.S. Marine Corps, which collects and distributes toys to less fortunate children of the community.

Members of Oakland County are encouraged to drop new, unwrapped toys for either girls or boys through December 18th in collection boxes located at MainStreet’s headquarters: 555 S. Old Woodward, Birmingham, MI 48009.

For every toy that people bring in, MainStreet will be donating $1 to Toys for Tots. They are hoping to fill up a truck!

“We’ve supported Toys For Tots for over five years now, said Christine Ramaekers, vice president and co-founder of MainStreet. “It warms my heart each year to witness the generosity of the people in our community who donate toys.”
